A Forum at the Mostra
After its excellent showing at Cannes and Karlovy Vary, the European Producers’ Club, together with the MEDIA Programme, the CNC and in partnership with Cineuropa.org, is organising its 3rd Co-production Forum at the 60th Venice Film Festival (27 Aug-6 Sept).
The ongoing problems independent producers encounter in outsourcing investors is the reason why the Club has decided to invite producers to a series of five meetings about key issues concerning the development and production of viable pan-European co-production film projects.
The last two forums (Cannes and Karlovy Vary) saw the participation of over 70 industry representatives from 16 countries. The Forum provides producers with a unique opportunity to meet and exchange ideas for small-to-medium-budget productions.
The 3rd Forum will take place on 1 September and includes a conference about the Internet during which the pros and cons of publishing films and audiovisual products on the web will be discussed.
