Portraits of Artists on the Lido
Mario Monicelli, this year’s president of the Venice Competition Jury, will open “Portraits of Artists”, a promotional event organised by Italia Cinema and the 60th Venice Film Festival, the Italian Film Journalists’ Guild (SNGCI), Cinecittà Holding and Istituto Luce.
The event consists of 12 relaxed conversations about life and films given by twenty of the Italian film industry’s biggest names. The guests include representatives from all walks of the film industry and the event will be held in the “Roundhouse of Italian Cinema” situated in front of the Casino.
