22 Italian, 6 French, 5 each from Russia and Germany, 3 from the US plus 12 more from other parts of the world are scheduled for the second edition of the Venice Screenings 2003, the market event organised on the Lido by Laura Marcellino.
Last year some 1,600 industry representatives from 43 countries took part in the first edition and the indications are that this year will be even bigger. Half of the 55 titles selected are also screening in various sections of the Mostra. The films can be seen throughout the Festival (27 Aug-6 Sept) in the Screenings area as well as on 10 video boxes situated in the 128-seater Pasinetti and 50-seat Zorzi theatres.
