Written by the director in collaboration with Laura Piani (Menina) and Julie Bonnie after the latter's novel Une autre que moi, the screenplay focuses on Jeanne, 50, an assistant on a maternity ward. Produced by Marine Arrighi de Casanova for Apsara Films, Into the World has been pre-purchased by Canal + and OCS and has also benefited from the support of the regions of New Aquitaine and South Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, as well Sofica La Banque Postale Image. The feature began filming on 21 January in Marseille and La Rochelle and will be both distributed in France and sold internationally by Pyramide.
