As is the case every year, Carlo, Luca and Silvia Verdone will choose the winner of the 2019 edition in collaboration with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and the Sindacato Nazionale Giornalisti Cinematografici Italiani, with the three siblings stating that “the Mario Verdone Prize continues to select quality films by emerging Italian directors. The abundance of excellent films, that often pass the general public by, will make it a very delicate and difficult decision."
