Producers Tudor and Oana Giurgiu and director Stere Gulea receiving the Gopo Award for Best Picture for Moromete Family: On the Edge of Time

The most popular Romanian film of 2018 (with circa 192,000 admissions), Stere Gulea’s period drama Moromete Family: On the Edge of Time [+see also:

film profile], also proved to be popular among Romania’s film-industry professionals: the Libra Film production won Best Picture at the Gopo Awards gala, also sweeping the technical categories to reach a total of nine wins.
