Bjork back on big screen
by Annika Pham
Following her first film venture in Lars von Trier's Dancer In The Dark, the Icelandic singer Björk will lend her voice to a half-hour 3D animated film produced by Caoz Ltd in Reykjavik called Anna And The Moods.
Icelandic singer-songwriter Sjón who previously won an Academy award nomination for Dancer In The Dark's lyrics, toured earlier this year with the stage adaptation of Anna And The Moods and will also feature in the feature film's soundtrack, along ex Monty Python's Terry Jones.
The project was supported by the Icelandic Film Centre and Northern Lights Comunications which bought all Icelandic rights including TV for its Channel 2.
A trailer of Anna And The Moods will be presented at the next Cartoon Forum in Varese, Italy.
