CineLink selects new projects by Mirjana Karanović, Teona Mitevska, Emanuel Parvu and Ivan Marinović
- Nine projects in the late stages of development from eight South-East European countries have been added to the CineLink Co-Production Market line-up
The Sarajevo Film Festival's CineLink Co-Production Market has announced its final line-up, with nine new projects having been added after the first batch was announced in April (see the news).
“Seventeen projects were selected in two phases,” says head of CineLink Amra Bakšić Čamo. “The first phase featured eight feature-film projects in early development, while the projects in the second phase are closer to completion. These 17 projects are marked by their diversity – from the authors’ styles, age and experience to their genre and forms. All 17 projects are promising and bode well for an exciting future for regional cinema.”
The list includes new films by Sarajevo regulars such as Serbian actress-director Mirjana Karanović (A Good Wife [+see also:

film profile] took part in the Montréal World Film Festival's First Fiction Films Competition last year; Greek actress Sofia Georgovassili with her feature-length directorial debut; and Croatia's Goran Kulenović, who has mostly been working on popular TV series since his debut feature, 2007’s Play Me a Love Song.
