The 5th edition of the International Panorama of Independent Film and Video Makers will be taking place in the Greek city of Thessalonika from September 25 to October 4, 2003.
>br> There has been such a wealth of Greek and international entries for this new edition that the organisers, the Cinema Club of the Trade Union Centre of Thessalonika, have had to expand the event by two days.
The organisers stress that the Thessalonika International Panorama is the only festival for independent filmmakers in Southeast Europe. There will be screenings of long and short films, cartoons, animation, documentaries, video art, video clips, as well as experimental films for the internet. There will be two separate competitions, one for Greek works, and one for international films.
