The body was set up in 2000 and its' estimated that its support for 72 productions has brought around €56m into the region. In 2003, the Turin Piedmont Film Commission has supported 7 feature length films (including Ora e per sempre by Vincenzo Verdecchi, Lettere dal Sahara by Vittorio De Seta and Senza freni by Felice Farina), 4 TV films, 4 short films, 2 documentaries and an episode of a TV programme. September should see shooting start on the film Da nessuna parte by Marco Ponti (Saint Maradona), with the "shooting star" Libero De Rienzo and Vanessa Incontrada.
