). The 7-episode series, which will be available from 2020 in the 190 countries where the platform is currently active, is billed as a supernatural drama where mystery, legend and reality combine to give rise to a tale which will take audiences on an incredible journey of self-discovery and an exploration of their own identity. It all unfolds in the setting of Curon, a fascinating village in the province of Bolzano. Now submerged underwater, the town’s church steeple can still be seen rising out of the lake, and on certain nights, according to legend, you can still hear the sound of the bells, despite their removal in 1950.

The synopsis is as follows: Anna has just returned to Curon, her birth town, with her teenage twins, Mauro and Daria, in tow. When Anna mysteriously disappears, her children must embark upon a journey which will lead them to uncover the secrets behind the apparent tranquillity of the town and will confront them with a side of their family that they’ve never seen before. Here, they will learn that you can escape from your past, but you can never run away from yourself.

The series’ protagonists are Valeria Bilello (Anna), Luca Lionello (Thomas), Federico Russo (Mauro), Margherita Morchio (Daria), Anna Ferzetti (Klara), Alessandro Tedeschi (Albert), Juju Di Domenico (Miki), Giulio Brizzi (Giulio), Max Malatesta (Ober) and Luca Castellano (Lukas).
