The director of the acclaimed feature film Last Resort Pawel Pawlikovski has just completed the shooting of his new film My Summer of Love starring the newcomer Nathalie Press, Emily Blunt and Paddy Considine.
Set in contemporary Yorkshire, the film is a vibrant tale of sixteen-year-olds who spend one long hot summer together.
Co-written by Pawlikowski and Michael Wynne, it is loosely based on the novel by Helen Cross.
My Summer of Love is produced by Christopher Collins (Last Resort, Tomorrow La Scala) and Tanya Seghatchian and is co-financed by BBC Films, The Film Consortium and Baker Street.
The Film Consortium's sales arm The Works is handling international sales.
