Known for his short films Fais croquer and F430, Yassine Qnia shot his first feature film A Brighter Tomorrow in the Paris region over the period spanning 29 October and 3 December. Leading the cast of the film are Soufiane Guerrab (well received in Step By Step [+see also:

Written by Yassine Qnia himself, the story centres around Mehdi, who’s on the wrong side of thirty and trying to put his relationship with Sarah back on track. But all he can offer her, for now, is to come back to live with him in his mother’s house…
