Next year’s campus will also be open to film soundtrack composers, film editors and sound designers (as well as for directors, screenwriters, actors, producers and technical operators). It is an incredible opportunity for 500 youngsters to come into contact with great filmmakers form around the world and display their talents. The names of the people selected to take part in the Campus will be published by the end of December 2003, and the lucky ones will be given free board and a contribution towards travel expenses.
The initiative at the Berlinale, which takes place from February 7 to 12, 2004, is conducted in collaboration with Filmboard Berlin-Brendenburg, the UK Film Council and the Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
