Written by Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet, the story centres around Anaïs who’s thirty years old and short on cash. She has a boyfriend, but she’s no longer sure she loves him. She meets Daniel, who is immediately attracted to her. But Daniel lives with Emilie… who Anaïs is also attracted to. It’s the story of a restless young woman, but also a great desire…

Produced by David Thion and Philippe Martin for Les Films Pelléas, and by Stéphane Demoustier and Igor Auzépy for Année Zéro, Anaïs in Love is co-produced by Arte France Cinéma. Pre-purchased by Canal+, Ciné+ and Arte and benefitting from an advance on receipts from the CNC, the support of the Brittany and Pays de la Loire regions, and investments put forward by the SOFICA companies Cinémage and Manon, this full-length film was developed within the Next Step workshop organised by Critics’ Week. Filming will press on until 18 September in Brittany, the Pays de la Loire region and in Paris, with Noé Bach (Just Kids [+see also:
