MDR for the cinema

The Radio and TV channel Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk is taking part in Cinedays, by featuring an original and wide-ranging selection of fairly recent genre films. The initiative will be starting on Saturday October 11 at 00:30 with The medusa touch, the 1977 thriller directed by Jack Gold and starring Richard Burton, which will be followed by Agony (1974) by the Russian Elem Klimov (October 13, at 00:05), An Impossible Crime by Antonello Grimaldi from 2001 (October 16, at 23:05), the historical costume drama 79 A.D. by Gianfranco Parolini (October 17, 14:30), Murder on the Orient-Express from the book by Agatha Christie directed by Sydeny Lumet (October 19, 11:00) and finally Les apprentis (“The Apprentices”, 1995) by Pierre Salvadori (October 19, at 23:50).
On October 22, to mark the 60th birthday of Catherine Deneuve, MDR will be showing the film by Elisabeth Rappeneau Listening in the Dark (1988), which stars the French actress.
