, a drama recalling the experiences of Daniel Rye, who was held hostage by ISIS terrorists for 13 months and released last year. The shooting of Rose has started on the mainland of Jutland and will later include a short detour to Paris.

The script, penned by the helmer himself and described as “a film about caring for each other despite our differences”, is set over the course of a week in the autumn of 1997 and follows a group of tourists travelling by bus from the northern provincial part of Denmark to the city of cities, Paris. In particular, the story will centre on two sisters, called Inger and Ellen, whose relationship is put to the test. Actresses Sofie Gråbøl and Lene Maria Christensen will play the two siblings. Alongside Gråbøl and Christensen, the main cast includes Anders W Berthelsen, Søren Malling, Christiane G Koch, Karen-Lise Mynster, Luca Ben Coker and Peter Gantzler.
