Having studied filmology, freelance journalist Beatrice Fiorentino has worked on the International Critics’ Week selection team since 2016 and is a member of the European Film Academy. “I accept this challenge with enthusiasm and pride, only too aware of the huge responsibility that has been entrusted to me. We will keep a watchful eye on what’s going on in the world today, and on the future of film”, she affirmed in a statement.

The SIC’s selection committee, composed of Paola Casella, Simone Emiliani and Roberto Manassero, has been enhanced via the appointment of Enrico Azzano, while Programme Manager Eddie Bertozzi will be replaced by Alessandro Gropplero and Suomi Sponton, together with Anette Dujisin-Muharay.
