Starring three-time Spanish Film Academy Award winner Luis Tosar, this new film – slated to be shot in April – will reflect the very recognisable socio-political reality of modern-day Spain. The action-thriller will immerse viewers in the world of string-pullers and the people in power. Information and disinformation, truth and deception, good and evil… These terms sometimes overlap, intertwine and coexist to such an extent that their boundaries start to become blurred.
With a storyline penned by one of the most sought-after screenwriters in Spain, Jorge Guerricaecheverría (Sky High [+see also:

According to Coira, “The world of espionage is one of the most powerful and fruitful contexts for exploring cases of extreme conflict. Código Emperador aims to delve deeper into the reality of intelligence agencies: a world in which the line between good and evil becomes unclear, and things are not always as they appear.”
For his part, the writer of the screenplay points out, “The reality we are living in is the result of a delicate balance. It’s a world in constant danger of collapse, where information is monitored and manipulated by powers that, while claiming to protect us, are actually seeking to stay afloat and prolong their lives.”
The main cast is rounded off by Alexandra Masangkay (The Platform [+see also:
