film profile] as “a mix between Big Brother and Hieronymous Bosch, but with little kindness and consideration to others”. Little is known about the subject matter as Moodysson is enjoying keeping it secret, but according to the SFI, “it is a film about a father and a son and a daughter and her friend, a film in Swedish with Swedish actors”.
Produced by Moodysson’s long time partner producer Lars Jönsson (Memfis Film), the film will be ready in September 2004. It was among the last projects supported by film consultant Lena Hansson Varhegyi, who has since joined the Danish Film Institute (DFI). The other two feature films are Babylonsjukan (“The Babylon disease”), a Nordisk Film production, directed by Daniel Espinosa. The film is currently shooting in Stockholm and has been awarded Skr3.9m from the SFI. It is a love story set in a tumultuous political world where professional football players are war commentators. The other project, Den Milde Smerte (“The Mild Pain”) directed by Carsten Brandt and produced by Ulf Berggren received Skr600,000 from the SFI.
