Two actresses with strong temperaments are joining forces on the same set, for Jeanne Labrune’s new film Cause Toujours. The Spanish actress Victoria Abril and the French actress Sylvie Testud, along with Jean-Pierre Darroussin will star in the director’s sixth feature-length film, which she is also producing.

After the financial reorganisation of Films Alain Sarde, the production company which made the director’s last two films, Jeanne Labrune is following the production of Cause toujours through her company Art Light Production. The production has a Euro 5,22 million budget, thanks to collaboration withFrance 2 Cinéma, Rhône-Alpes Cinéma and ARP Sélection. After shooting in Paris at the beginning of October, the production will move to Bourg-en-Bresse for nine more weeks.
