Every year, the Annual Selection, the writing coaching scheme of Le Groupe Ouest (directed by Charlotte Le Vallégan and Antoine Le Bos) follows eight fiction projects (live action or animation), carried by French-speaking screenwriters and filmmakers. The happy few who are selected will participate in four collective work sessions between March and December 2024, in residency by the seaside in Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages (Finistère), under the supervision of screenwriter-consultants.
