Co-written by the director and Jules Lugan, the story revolves around Jordan, Nabil and Patrick, three adolescents and best friends who decide to fake a cancerous illness online, due to a combination of circumstances, and set up an online fundraiser. Cut off from the world in their small and remote village, they’re convinced their virtual lie won’t ever catch up with them…

Produced by Pierre-Louis Garnon on behalf of Baxter Films and Frédéric Jouve for Les Films Velvet, Juniors has been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, and benefits from a CNC advance on receipts, as well as enjoying the support of the Pays de la Loire region and of the SOFICA company Cinémage. Distribution in France will be handled by The Jokers/Les Bookmakers whilst international sales are steered by WTFilms.
