Social commitment in Innsbruck
The Leokino cinema in Innsbruck is putting on a programme for Cinedays strongly tinged with the values of social commitment and ethics. The films being shown include L'alba di Luca (2002) by Roberto Quagliano, the story of a young boy who comes out of the coma he has been in for many months and the solidarity of the people around him, and then there’s Der Pannwitzblick ("The Pannwitz Stare"), the 1991 documentary by Didi Danquart, which looks at the concept of diversity and euthanasia in the Third Reich, followed by a debate with the audience. The other films on the programme include two tributes to Jean-Luc Godard, with Alphaville (1965) and Contempt (1963) and, the Cinedays 2003 special will be closed by a screening of Good-bye, Lenin!
