German Policemen in Dundee

Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) has invited German filmmaker Aysun Bademsoy to discuss her film German Policemen on on October 24. It’s the story of five young immigrant policemen living between two cultures in Berlin.

The screening is part of the mini-festival “Young Turks” held between October 24-26, which will present a series of shorts and feature length features from German-Turkish filmmakers. The Mini-festival is one of the many film events organised by DCA during for Cinedays to celebrate European cinema – both past and present.
Other European films screening at the internationally renowned centre for contemporary arts include the classics The Leopard, The Red Circle, Monsieur Hulot’s Holidays and Playtime as well as Kirikou The Sorcerer, Dirty Pretty Things [+see also:

, Swimming Pool, Winged Migration, and Tea With Mussolini. The four-year old DCA offers five floors of galleries, cinemas, artistic facilities, education resources, the University of Dundee visual research centre, and welcomes over 300,000 visitors per annum.
