The success is mainly down to the film The League of Extraordinary Men, the American production that represents 72.9% of the company’s total takings. Close behind is Buena Vista with €11.6 million earned from 11 films (a 23.7% market share), though this figure also includes a Spanish film, Dias de futbol the comedy directed by David Serrano, even though this comes much lower down the ratings listings, a significant way behind the blockbusters like Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. American distributors are also in third and fourth place, with UIP taking €8.22 million for its 7 films and Columbia TriStar España taking a 13.1% of the market share, earning just under €6.2 million for 8 films.
