Every year the European Cultural Foundation in Amsterdam organises a workshop for youngsters with the aim of helping them make small minute long films in different countries in Europe and central Asia. This year the Foundation has also decided to propose this original initiative as part of the programme for European cinema, Cinedays 2003.

And for the first time there’ll also be a competitive section. The workshops are open to youngsters aged between 14 and 20 , and the idea is to stimulate their creativity and develop their sense of the image. These small films can also be seen on the Internet site linked to the workshops.
