Written by Bálint Szentgyörgyi, István O. Boros and Balázs Maruszki, We Started Together (Együtt kezdtük) is a coming-of-age story (told via flashback, ten years later) revolving around Marci and the other members of class 12 - Franciska, Juli, Renato, Ádi, Gigi, Nóri, Benett and Geri – who are finishing high school in 2011. After the graduation dinner, each of them will take a different path. Some will continue their studies, others will enter the world of work…

This feature film is produced by Csaba Pék on behalf of Együtt Kezdtük Film, and by Judit Romwalter for Sparks, with the support of Hungary’s NFI (National Film Institute) and RTL Hungary. The movie was shot in Budapest and at Lake Balaton in Hungary, with Tamás Babos heading up photography. Distribution in Hungarian cinemas is entrusted to InterCom while international sales should be helmed by NFI World Sales.
