. This will enable Øst for Paradis to concentrate fully on the five-day Aarhus Film Festival (October 22-26), celebrating short and documentary films that have won prizes or other forms of international recognition.
The Festival also presents regional films, Danish hits, special film focuses and gives away two Audience Awards to films in the international programme and the Kodak Award of 16mm film stock to a regional film that was produced independently. This year, the festival has a special focus on European Experimental films over the last 25 years. Guest speakers invited to take part in various seminars include Jørgen Flindt Pedersen who will discuss his documentary films, and producer Kim Magnusson (Head of production at Nordisk Film) who will talk about his Oscar winning shorts, Election Night and The Charming Man.
