The 8th Antalya Film Forum announces its selection
- The industry platform of the 58th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival is running online and will host 26 projects across five different sections

The eighth edition of the Antalya Film Forum, the co-production market and project-development sidebar of the 58th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival (2-9 October), will be held from 4-6 October, entirely online. Spanning five different platforms, the Antalya Film Forum is inviting 26 projects at various stages of production to come and be presented, and is headed up by Müge Özen and Pınar Evrenosoğlu.
In the Pitching for Feature Films in Development platform, eight projects (from among the almost 70 submitted) that are currently at the development stage, and have a director and producer from Turkey attached, were selected to be presented. Two of them will receive awards worth TL 30,000 (€3,000) each, while a third project will receive the TRT Feature Pitching Award and another the Film Standartları Postproduction Award. In the Feature Work in Progress section, five projects, out of the 16 submitted, will be eligible to win awards of a total amount of TL 120,000 (€12,000), the Başka Sinema Distribution and Promotion Award, and the Creative Productions Colour Correction Award. Finally, three projects have been shortlisted for the Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund, and one of them will end up receiving support of TL 150,000 (€15,000) from the city of Antalya, in addition to a Post-Production Award sponsored by Fono Film. The stipulations are that at least two-thirds of the film must be shot in the region, and this footage must be featured in the final cut.

In addition to the pitching, competition and one-on-one meetings this year, the Antalya Film Forum features workshops, master classes and talks in the Forum+ section in order to reach out to film professionals and everyone interested in cinema. These activities will take place online between 4 and 7 October. Among the guests, BAFTA-nominated scriptwriter Olivia Hetreed will give a master class entitled “Adaptations of Literary Works”, BAFTA- and Oscar-nominated producer Ed Guiney will hold a Q&A on “How to Produce a Successful Series”, and the EAVE workshop on “Marketing and Audience Development” is being organised under the guidance of Álvaro Vega.
