The young singer Casadilego (Elisa Coclite) who won the 2020 edition of the X Factor in Italy is set to make her film debut playing the lead in Fabio Mollo’s My Soul Summer. Shooting kicked off several days ago in Calabria and is set to wrap in Rome at the end of October.

My Soul Summer speaks of the summer experienced by Anita, who is 17 years old and still has so much to discover. When she meets a famous singer during a summer unlike any other, she discovers her own talent and her true passion: music. Joining Casadilego in the cast are Tommaso Ragno, Luka Zunic, Agnese Claisse and Anna Ferzetti, with Lunetta Savino also making an appearance.

My Soul Summer is written by Doriana Leondeff and Antonio Leotti, with photography in the hands of Daniele Ciprí, editing by Filippo Montemurro, costumes by Sara Fanelli and Camilla Giuliani, and set design coming courtesy of Eleonora Devitofrancesco.
