), the story revolves around Pierre, a famous explorer and writer who regularly travels around the world in search of adventure. One evening, he climbs a hotel wall while drunk and falls from a few floors up. The shock of the accident sends him into a deep coma. When he wakes up, despite barely being able to stand and against the advice of those around him, he decides to travel across France on foot by way of forgotten roads. The result is a unique and timeless journey across an ultra-rural landscape…

Produced by Clément Miserez and Matthieu Warter on behalf of Radar Films (who also teamed up with the filmmaker on his previous feature), Les chemins de Pierre is co-produced by France 3 Cinéma, JD Prod, Echo Studio, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Cinéma and the Apollo Films - TF1 Studio duo (who have acquired the film’s French distribution and international sales rights), and is pre-purchased by France Télévisions, Canal+ and Ciné+.

For the record, Radar Films’ post-production film slate also includes Belle et Sébastien, nouvelle génération by Pierre Coré, On sourit pour la photo by François Uzan (read our article) and Canailles by Christophe Offenstein.
