There’s still time to take part in the 2nd edition of the Pôle Image Midi-Pyrénées Meetings discussing the theme The digital devolution: what is the future for the cinema and audiovisual industries, being organised in Toulouse from November 4-5, 2003.
The theme will be discussed in depth during 5 round tale debates involved speakers from film, audiovisual and multimedia professionals and representatives from the institutions.

The series of debates on the programme include themes like “Cinema and the digital challenge”, “Television and the risk of interactivity”, “Permanent technical innovation: the impact on the audiovisual sector and the adaptation of skills” and “New products, new aesthetic writing, new world”. The discussions will be a chance to look at the way digital is developing and to forecast its impact. There’ll be participation by many names from the French cinema, audiovisual and technical sectors (producers and directors) as well as representatives from institutions like the Centre National de la Cinématographie (CNC), the CSA, media chiefs, the MEDIA Programme, the European agency for the development of digital cinema and the Advanced Technical Commission, for the companies managing rights and the AFDAS.
