Madrid Online Pitchbox selects 14 Spanish projects
- Seven series and seven features will be presented online in front of companies from the audiovisual sector, including digital platforms, production outfits, distributors and TV channels

The Filmarket Hub website has unveiled the selection of projects that will be taking part in the Madrid Online Pitchbox, its virtual pitching event focusing on Spanish features and series currently in development, for which the call for applications was organised during the last few months of 2021. Once again this year, the initiative seeks to enable the best Spanish emerging talents and fiction projects to hook up with leading companies in the audiovisual industry. The event will unspool, in a virtual format, on 14 and 21 January: the first day will be dedicated to series and the second to features. The teams behind the selected projects, standing out among which is the new opus by Marina Seresesky (The Open Door [+see also:

Filmarket Hub is an international online market that connects film and TV projects currently in development with companies from the audiovisual sector, including production outfits, studios, TV channels, streaming platforms, sales agents and distributors. The platform’s aim is to increase the visibility of the crème de la crème of up-and-coming talents and foster agreements to produce new projects. As its institutional sponsor, Madrid Online Pitchbox has secured the support of the Madrid Film Office, a public service of Madrid City Council that promotes the city as a filming location, assists production companies and professionals that choose Madrid as a place to bring their projects to fruition and supports the Madrilenian audiovisual sector. Right from a project’s pre-production stage, it comes on board in order to facilitate location scouting and the development of audiovisual works in the Spanish capital.
