07/06/2002 - Pay-per-view channel hunts for a partner to help loss-making Film Four

Channel 4 has been talking to international companies in its hunt for a partner to help revive its loss-making film production arm, FilmFour.
"Channel 4 has made no secret of the fact that it is looking at a number of options for its stand-alone film business FilmFour Ltd" a statement from the company said. These options include bringing in a partner to the business and we are in ongoing discussions with interested parties". FilmFour has not had a big box office hit since 1999's East is East.
