Twenty-five projects, hailing from 15 countries and variously in search of buyers, backers, distributors, sales agents, broadcasters, institutes and, at times, a director, will be proposed and assessed today and tomorrow at the m:brane financing forum for youth content in Malmö, Sweden. The presented projects cover a wide array of genres and formats, including comedy, drama, live action, animation, fiction, documentary, and various interactive and multiplatform concepts. There are seven series and one documentary, with fiction features coming on the strongest this time around. While the Nordic and European regions are dominant, a few contenders are also checking in from Africa and Latin America.

As is traditional at the m:brane pitch proceedings, a special, incognito-operating jury will look at the manner in which the presentations are performed and will award a princely sum of €2,500 to the best pitch later in the week. As usual, all pitchers have been offered tutoring from the seemingly tireless Thomas Borch Nielsen, a hat trick-scoring nobleman in this art form, after his three previous wins. Representatives from 70 registered companies and organisations are in attendance at this year’s sessions, either in town or via a digital connection.

The 2022 m:brane Pitch Days take place on 16 and 17 March. More information on m:brane is available here. The full list of projects is as follows:
