. The young Costa Rican director, who lives in Belgium, shot the film last November and December in San José, Costa Rica. She made her mark on the international scene with two short films selected at Cannes. The first, her graduation film Paul est là, was presented at the prestigious Cinéfondation, where it won first prize in 2017. Lucia en el limbo, her latest short film, was selected for Critics' Week in 2019. This is enough to keep alive the slightly crazy hope that we will see the young filmmaker again on the Croisette next May... But we are not there yet.

Like Lucia en el limbo, Tengo sueños eléctricos follows in the footsteps of a young teenager. Eva can't stand the fact that her mother wants to renovate the house and get rid of the cat, which, disorientated since the divorce, pees everywhere. Eva wants to go and live with her father, who, disorientated like the cat, is going through a second adolescence. Eva follows him while he tries to reconnect with his desire to become an artist and find love again. But like someone who crosses an ocean of adults without knowing how to swim, Eva will also discover the rage that gnaws at him, and which she unknowingly inherited from him. In the role of Eva we find the young Daniela Marin Navarro, her first appearance on the big screen. She is joined by Reinaldo Amien Gutierrez, Vivian Rodriguez and Adriana Castro Garcia.

The film is produced by Wrong Men (Belgium), which had already accompanied the director for Lucia en el limbo, and co-produced by Tres Tigres Films (Costa Rica) and Geko Films (France).
