, a story about two twin brothers.

According to the synopsis of the film, Kolya and Vasily learn that their father, who left them when they were children, is dying in Luxembourg, far away from them. Lukich said: “This is a film about twins: they seem to be the same, but behind the external similarity lies the hidden fact that their inner worlds are completely different. Therefore, they treat their father differently. I wanted to emphasise this doubt, which gave shape to the visual component.”

). Incidentally, the producer of the movie, Volodimir Yatsenko, has been chosen as one of the six Ukrainian Producers Under the Spotlight at Cannes’ imminent Marché du Film (see the news).

The main roles in the film are played by the members of the music group Kurgan & Agregat – twin brothers Ramil and Amil Nasirov – and the art director is Andrey Lidagovsky, who played the protagonist in Lukich's debut feature.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the resulting evacuation, some of the materials related to the film remained in Kyiv, but the team managed to get them back. “It was a complicated ‘special operation’, but we succeeded,” said Yatsenko.

Paris-based sales agent Celluloid Dreams has boarded Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Involved in international production, development, sales and financing for more than 15 years, Celluloid Dreams has been responsible for developing the careers of some of the most important and highly respected film directors of our times, such as Marco Bellocchio and Jacques Audiard.
