Written by the director together with Mathieu Naert, the film centres on Vincent who, overnight, finds himself under attack for no apparent reason from people who are trying to kill him. He tries to continue leading a normal life, but when the phenomenon intensifies, he must run and completely change his way of life…
Produced by Thierry Lounas for Capricci Production and by Claire Bonnefoy for Bobi Lux, Vincent Must Die is co-produced by Arte France Cinéma, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Cinéma and Belgium’s Gapbusters. Pre-bought by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature film is also supported by the advance on receipts from the CNC, by Eurimages, the Gan Foundation for Cinema, the Wild West label, the Pays de la Loire region, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, BeTV, the RTBF and Proximus. Eight weeks of filming in Lyon will conclude on 31 Octobre, then continue in the Loire-Atlantique department, with Belgium’s Manu Dacosse as director of photography (winner of the Jury Prize in San Sebastian in 2015 for Evolution [+see also:
