), the story centres on 40-something Kheìdidja, who works for a wealthy Parisian family who offers her to take care of the children during a summer in Corsica – the occasion for her and her daughters, Jessica and Farah, to return to this island which they left 15 years ago in tragic circumstances. While Kheìdidja struggles with her memories, the two teenagers let themselves get carried away by all the summertime temptations: unexpected encounters, running wild and free, first love experiences. This trip will allow them to discover a part of their story and to grow closer…

Produced by Élisabeth Perez for Chaz Productions (which produced Corsini’s last three features), Homecoming is co-produced by Le Pacte (which will handle distribution in France) and by France 3 Cinéma. Pre-bought by Canal+, Ciné+ and France Télévisions, the feature is also supported by the advance on revenue of the CNC, the Corsica region and the Sofica Sofityciné, La Banque Postale Image, Cofinova and Cinéaxe. The shooting will take place entirely in Corsica for seven weeks until 8 November with Jeanne Lapoirie as director of photography. Set design will be handled by Louise Le Bouc Berger, sound by François Abdelnour and and editing by Frédéric Baillehaiche. International sales will be led by Playtime.
