The Filmarket Hub platform has unveiled the projects that will take part in the new edition of Madrid Online Pitchbox, its online pitching event for Spanish feature films and series in development. Once again, this initiative will connect emerging talents and fiction projects with leading Spanish companies in the industry in an online event that will take place on 26 and 27 January: the first day dedicated to series and the second to feature films. The project creators will be able to make a sales pitch and meet with executives from leading Spanish companies in the industry. As well as the 14 projects selected through the call for entries, the winners of the latest Filmarket Hub international screenwriting contests (all of which are listed at the end) will also take part.

This Filmarket Hub initiative is once again supported by the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. As part of this partnership, the two best student projects from the Master’s in Film and TV Screenwriting with ALMA Writers Guild will be included in the Madrid Online Pitchbox catalogue and will be recommended through the Filmarket Hub's online marketplace: the selected projects in this edition are the feature film Bai, Bai by Alba Esquinas, and the series La isla del fuego, by Álvaro Berrios and José Suay.

Filmarket Hub is an international online marketplace that connects film and television projects in development with companies in the audiovisual sector: production companies, studios, television networks, streaming platforms, sales agencies and distributors. The platform aims to give visibility to the best emerging talent and to promote agreements to produce new titles.
