Written by the director himself, the story revolves around Nicole and her son Serge. Living in a tower block apartment on the outskirts of Paris, they enjoy a symbiotic love which thrives against all odds. But, as the Christmas holidays approach, Nicole has her cheque book and debit card confiscated, turning their relationship and their lives upside down…

L’amour égaré is produced by Fanny Yvonnet for Trois Brigands Productions and by Florence Gastaud for Wild Bunch (who are also steering cinema distribution), with the movie likewise benefitting from the involvement of Belgium’s Frakas Productions in co-production, but also from pre-purchasing agreements courtesy of Canal+ and Ciné+.
