With the cameras on their smartphones, Parisian taxi drivers chronicle the Base Arrière Taxi, a gigantic isolated transit hub on the outskirts of Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Here, more and more ageing drivers, immigrants from all four corners of the world, spend long hours waiting to be dispatched to the terminals. In this place, they find a refuge from fatigue and the fierce competition of the metropolis. Suspended in space and time, they foster a community to escape the decline of their trade and the changing world.

, set to take part in the international competition of this year’s Cinéma du Réel (24 March-2 April).
