The Screenings section consists of screenings for international festival buyers and programmers of recently produced Spanish feature films, with priority given to those from the last quarter of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023 and with little exposure in other international markets: 38 titles are included. Neo Screenings will feature screenings of the most innovative Spanish cinema, with 17 titles. In Next From Spain, trailers and film footage of 15 films in post-production can be seen. And in Málaga Festival Films, six films in competition from the Official Selection and ZonaZine of the current festival will be on offer.

Regional Film Hub is a platform for promoting the film industry of the Spanish Autonomous Communities, where their film institutes will present 19 titles whose development they have supported. In the Film Library, 35 titles will be available to accredited international professionals on the website spanishscreenings.online.

Spanish Screenings Content also renews the Book Showcase this year, with case studies on the screen adaptation of La Reina del Sur, the novel by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, and Zorras, by Noemi Casquet. Remake Day, with 37 films with the potential to market remake rights available on spanishscreenings.online, also includes this year a panel with the agencies Filmax and Latido Films, where they will talk about two of their most successful titles: The People Upstairs [+see also:
