13/06/2002 - Over 900,000 people took part in an online poll on the Internet to find out what they think Michael (Bully) Herbig´s next film should be.

Record online poll to decide Michael Herbig´s next film. Herbig directed Der Schuh des Manitu - The Shoe of Manitu, one of Germany´s most successful films of 2001 seen by 11 million filmgoers. 34% of those questioned said Herbig ought to direct a sci-fi project entitled «Traumsciff while 31% preferred a follow-up to Der Schuh des Manitu. Asked by Der Spiegel why he came up with the idea to poll Germany, Herbig said, «I just wanted to know whether there´s life after «Manitu»? So who better to ask than the people who made it into a hit?».
