The international sales division of French group SND is now entering the home straight towards the Marché du Film (running 16 – 24 May) - unspooling within the 76th Cannes Film Festival - with a line-up spearheaded by a title set to be unveiled out of competition in the Official Selection: Abbé Pierre – A Century of Devotion by Frédéric Tellier (read our news). Produced by WY Productions and SND, co-produced by France 3 Cinéma and pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the film starring Benjamin Lavernhe (in the titular role), Emmanuelle Bercot and Michel Vuillermoz will be distributed in French cinemas by SND from 15 November.

The sales team directed by Ramy Nahas (flanked by Clara Flageollet Schmit) will likewise be staking its bets on four market premieres, in the form of Visions [+see also:

by Yann Gozlan (starring Diane Kruger, Mathieu Kassovitz, Spain’s Marta Nieto and Amira Casar – due for release in France on 6 September), The Baby by Guillaume Nicloux (starring Fabrice Luchini, Mara Taquin and Maud Wyler – due for release in France on 20 September), The Braid by Laetitia Colombani and Toto on a School Trip by Pascal Bourdiaux (to be released in France on 3 August).

Also worth a mention are the promo reels on the agenda for the post-production titles Breaking Point by Yvan Attal, The Jungle Bunch: World Tour - an animated feature by the trio Benoît Somville - Yannick Moulin - Laurent Bru - and the comedy La vie de château (working title) by Alexandre Charlot and Franck Magnier (starring Kad Merad, Isabelle Carré and Clovis Cornillac), without forgetting those for Vanessa Filho’s Consent [+see also:
