SND to sell Abbé Pierre – A Century of Devotion in Cannes
- The French sales agent is mainly pinning its hopes on Frédéric Tellier’s movie - due to be presented out of competition - alongside four market premieres
The international sales division of French group SND is now entering the home straight towards the Marché du Film (running 16 – 24 May) - unspooling within the 76th Cannes Film Festival - with a line-up spearheaded by a title set to be unveiled out of competition in the Official Selection: Abbé Pierre – A Century of Devotion by Frédéric Tellier (read our news). Produced by WY Productions and SND, co-produced by France 3 Cinéma and pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the film starring Benjamin Lavernhe (in the titular role), Emmanuelle Bercot and Michel Vuillermoz will be distributed in French cinemas by SND from 15 November.
The sales team directed by Ramy Nahas (flanked by Clara Flageollet Schmit) will likewise be staking its bets on four market premieres, in the form of Visions [+see also:
