From November 13 to 16, Media 10-10 will be celebrating its 25th anniversary at the Culture Centre in Namur. It’s a crucial appointment for Belgium and Francophone short films, and this year Media 10-10 has some new elements to its event, in addition to the traditional official competition, special screenings for youngsters, debates with contributions from various Francophone areas like Luxembourg and Quebec, and a meeting dedicated to new technology. The official jury is led by the Belgium director, Raoul Servais, and it will have to chose the best short film out of around 40 works entered in competition. These includes works like La femme papillon by Virginie Bourdin, Les hommes de ma vie by Karine de Villers, Sans regret éternel by Dominique Wittorski , Une journée ordinaire by Claude François, Zoé et les pachydermes by Rémi Hatzfeld, Le solitaire du Ventoux by Richard Olivier, C’est vrai (en plus) by Dominique Laroche, La nuit du 6 au 7 by Patrice Bauduinet, Rendez-vous by Damien Chemin and Bonhommes by Cecilia Marreiros Marum.
