Creatura scoops the Europa Cinemas Label in the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight
- CANNES 2023: The film by Spaniard Elena Martín Gimeno has been crowned as the best European film, while A Prince by Pierre Creton went home with the SACD Award

film profile] by Spaniard Elena Martín Gimeno, which was unveiled in the Directors’ Fortnight at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, has won the Europa Cinemas Label (handed out by a jury of exhibitors to the best European film in the parallel section). Produced by Spanish outfits Vilaüt Films, Lastor Media, Avalon PC and Elastica Films, together with US firm S/B Films, the feature is being sold by France’s Luxbox.
The SACD Award, given to one of the French films selected in the Directors’ Fortnight, went to A Prince [+see also:
