Under the slogan "20 years of Eco-Media", the 20th edition of the international film festival dedicated to environment has opened in Fribourg. Many filmmakers, TV producers, debutant directors and film school students will be taking part in the event. This year’s theme is "Water and Energy –the challenges of the future" and the programme features more than 40 films for adults and children. There are feature length films, shorts, documentaries and animation films, all of which tackle the theme of the environment in one way or another. There’s a special section for classic works from the last 20 years dealing the issue.
