The UK sales arm of Mel Gibson and Bruce Davey's Icon Entertainment has put together one of the strongest line-ups for the upcoming MIFED, the international market taking place in Milan from November 9 to 13. It will be presenting 10 star-studded titles from the likes of Mel Smith, John Turturro, David O. Russell and Richard Eyre.

Three titles in post-production with a delivery date set for Summer 2004 will be on the top of Icon's sales basket: I Love Huckabees is a new comedy by the director of Three Kings, David O.Russell starring Dustin Hoffman, Isabelle Huppert, Jude Law, Lily Tomlin, Mark Wahlberg and Naomi Watts.

Complete Female Beauty by Richard Eyre is a touching and funny period film set in 1661 starring Billy Crudup, Claire Danes, Rupert Everett and Tom Wilkinson. The film produced by Robert de Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Hardy Justice will be released in the US by Artisan and in the UK by Momentum.

Paparazzi, an in-house production is a thriller directed by Paul Abascal starring Cole Hausen, Dennis Farina and Robin Tunney.
Two films in pre-production will be offered by Icon's Head of Sales Simon Crowe: Romance and Cigarettes is a musical/black comedy written by John Turturro, who will start directing it next Spring. The film is executive-produced by Turturro's long time friends, the Coen Brothers, and stars James Gandolfini, Susan Sarandon and Kate Winslet. Also in pre-production is Ray Lawrence's Jindabyne, a thriller/drama written by Beatrix Christian.
Icon will also discuss five completed British films: Mel Smith's comedy Blackball, Brian Grant's Gladiatress, Donarld Coutts' romantic comedy American Cousins, and Glen Freyer's comedy The Intervention.
